Chapter 10

Carrie woke nestled in Tyr’s embrace. She nuzzled her nose against his skin, enjoying the pleasant, manly smell of his rugged body. Silken strands of hair fell over his forehead. A coarse spatter of tight dark curls adorned his powerful chest. He was so perfect, so handsome. Her head lifted to rest on her hand, elbow bent, watching him while he slept.

His eyes flickered behind his lids, the slightest of smiles tugged at the corners of his mouth, and she wondered if he was dreaming of her. She remembered she told him she loved him last night. She had been taught to say so. Maggie had been teaching her a great many things. What words to say, phrases to entice, places to touch, how to tease and caress, how to remain completely submissive and accepting of her new role.

She had been taught how to act when a man took her; she must always pretend he was handsome, amazing, and so big. It had all seemed so overwhelming, although now she giggled with the thought of a man’s vanity in the bedroom. She’d been so embarrassed at first during her initial instructions. Everything was explained in graphic detail, but she soon overcame her apprehension as she put her newfound skills to work on Tyr.

The training didn’t always go as planned in the beginning. Tyr was so patient, so tender while she attempted to arouse him with her clumsy fingers, her too tight grasp, and one wayward knee episode she was grateful he laughed while holding his private parts and rolling about the bed while she cringed in frustration. She had bumped his nose while trying to figure out how to tilt her head just so, and banged her forehead against his while attempting to suck an earlobe.

She blushed crimson; wanting to forget the episode of the strawberry she coerced past his lips while he lay on the bed, then almost choked him by accident when she dropped it down his throat. Frantically, she thumped him on the back as the fruit went flying. He forgave her mistakes and taught her his own style of loving. His lingering deep kisses left her breathless while his tongue taught hers to intertwine, his hands made her dance in a way no uplifting song ever could. Tyr was teaching her about him, a gift; there were so many stories. Stories that made her laugh, some made her cry. Every story was a piece of him he shared.

She never had to pretend with Tyr, he really was amazing. She was his, she belonged to him, and she wanted him. Carrie didn’t know when it had happened, but she knew in her heart she wanted to stay with him. She wanted to be with him forever; she wanted his children, and she wanted desperately for him to love her. The women were teaching her a man’s demands but Tyr wasn’t demanding, he didn’t make her feel as though she had to give in. She gave of herself because she wanted to, not because he made her.
